15 years ago this week I opened this law firm with little more than the belief that I could. In 15 years, I have prosecuted over 75 design and utility patents, over 300 registered trademarks and dozens of copyright registrations. In 15 years, hundreds of clients found an attorney who took their idea seriously, an attorney who advocated for them and an attorney who cared. You can read some of their stories here.
Thank you to those who believed in me in those early years: Rebecca Bloomfield, Jeanie and Alan Pearlman, Hon. Abbey Romanek, Ellen Feldman, Hon. Scott Tzinberg, Scott Berks, Alex Menchaca, my parents and my husband. Thank you to those in the back of the house who invisibly and seamlessly keep things in order so I can do what I love: Ray, Mike P., Cliff, Barb M. and the folks at 5 Revere Drive Ste 200. Working from home since 2006 gave me the freedom and flexibility to walk my daughter to school and watch her grow up into a confident and independent young adult. I can’t put a price tag on that.
15 years has grown my professional network 100-fold and nationwide. I cannot imagine my practice or my life without the ladies of North Shore LAW, without the ProVisors attorney affinity group. In the last year alone, I have added enterprise-grade patent drafting AI, and I am constantly alert to other ways to improve how I serve my clients.
Here’s to the next 15, and beyond!
